Ant International
My current chapter: working on the Whale blockchain project at Ant International, bringing my financial backend experience into a new engineering environment.
Ping An Property & Casualty · 2022–2025
Backend development across claims, payments and settlement. Focused on asynchronous processing, reconciliation and clearer business logic.
Connected claims, payment and finance workflows. Used message queues to decouple processing and worked on concurrency controls and reconciliation with local message tables.
Refactored complex conditional business logic using a chain of responsibility to make changes easier to reason about.
YamaSwap · Crypto-asset ETF platform
Backend work on a crypto-asset basket platform, exploring minting, redemption and the movement of multiple component assets.
Worked on minting and redemption flows based on component-asset weights, and batching asset-transfer instructions to reduce ledger interactions.
A simplified view of the asynchronous processing and reconciliation work described above.
Move downstream processing through a queue, reducing direct coupling between services.
Combine local message records with reconciliation to handle the gap between business state and message delivery.

I’m Sonia, a computer science graduate from Southwest University. From financial backend systems to blockchain, I like understanding how things fit together.
I’m going deeper into Rust and building toward a more independent, international working life. Off the clock, my world has a few more tabs open.
Basketball is my first love in sport. Cycling is another reason to step outside.
